still. simple. textured.
A gentle study of form, balance, and imperfection; crafted with joint compound and intention. No two pieces alike.

Built by hand, never repeated.
Each piece begins with joint compound; a humble construction material, layered and sculpted using culinary spatulas, palette knives, and other unconventional tools. The textures emerge slowly, guided by intuition rather than precision.
Organic forms, muted tones, and the quiet beauty of restraint. Every ridge, curve, and imperfection is a record of the moment it was made.
"I want the viewer to feel stillness; to notice the texture before the shape, the quiet before the thought."
Jerilee Hippolyte
An artist whose work centers on texture, minimalism, and imperfection. Working with joint compound and a mix of unconventional tools, she creates pieces that highlight organic lines, soft curves, and the natural movement of layered surfaces.
Her work resists rigid uniformity; leaning instead into forms that feel lived-in, uneven, and intentionally unpolished. She earned her BFA from the Art Institute of Seattle and has shown her work at galleries, showcases, and charitable events.
